Admissions Guide
Walking in the door is the hardest part. Everything after that has a rhythm to it — not a rigid script, but a real structure that's the same for every person who comes through, whether they've heard of us before or found us at 2 AM searching for a way out. Here's exactly what the first 30 days actually look like.
Getting In: Two Different Intakes
Intake looks different depending on which door you're coming through. For sober living, Ryan handles intake himself — about 15 to 30 minutes covering house rules, what's expected of you, and our two non-negotiables: honesty and communication. For treatment, Marissa gathers your basic information and releases of information, then hands you off to Terry to be matched with a therapist.
Your First 24 Hours
Nobody's thrown into the deep end on day one. After intake, your first 24 hours are about settling in — we take things slowly and get you acclimated to the program. Bring bedding if you have it, toiletries, and clothing. A few things aren't allowed in the house: weapons of any kind, including knives and guns, and certain medications — THC, Adderall, Vyvanse, or Xanax — along with the obvious: no drugs or alcohol.
What a Normal Day Looks Like
Mornings start with gym time at EOS Fitness — the van leaves at 8:10 AM. If you don't go, you're still up and productive on the same schedule. From 9 AM to 5 PM, you're working, in class, or handling your responsibilities around the house and your room. Dinner varies by house — some cook together, some don't, since the houses differ in size. Every Monday from 6 to 7 PM, everyone in the program attends a mandatory house meeting, taught by Ryan. Curfew is 10 PM Sunday through Thursday, and midnight Friday and Saturday.
Testing, Because Accountability Isn't Optional
Drug testing at the house happens randomly. On top of that, our treatment program runs UA collection every Monday and Thursday from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM, using a color-indicator system with lab confirmation. This isn't about catching people. It's the accountability that makes the rest of the structure mean something.
How Long Is 30 Days, Really?
There's no fixed minimum length of stay. Step-down — from Day Treatment (PHP), to IOP, to GOP, and eventually out of the program entirely — happens as you complete assignments, show up to group consistently, and pass every UA. Residents who stay on top of that move down faster than those who don't. Thirty days in, most residents have a real sense of where they stand.
The Two Things We Say Every Day
You'll hear two phrases constantly, because they're not slogans on a wall — they're how the program actually thinks. Nothing changes if nothing changes. And you vs. you: the person staring back at you in the mirror is your only competition.
If you're reading this because you're about to walk through our door, or you're trying to understand what a loved one is about to go through, we're glad you looked this up first. Here's the full admissions process, or you can just call us and talk to a real person.
